Another Tribal council decision in pakistan

Again it has nothing to do with islam and this shows the ignorance still present in pakistan.
One of the daughters of a landlord in villiage in pakistan decided to go with one of the workers in the house. To get her back a council was called for the village and they decided that 2 women from the guy’s family will be abducted as a counter.
This kind of sanctioned abuse is totally not acceptable. I wish these people could be arrested and imprisoned with harsh labor.
It is just not a local problem but the problem with the system. This culture evolves from earlier hindu culture and still exist both in India and Pakistan. Police protect these people and then once the case is registered they arrest them after deals have been made.

Again as i said it is pure Ignorance.

Islam the religion of War

I read this article long time back and finally found it again.

Very interesting…., the article below was taken from
Here

Remember that Muhammad was a military leader and as such involved personally in a great deal of brutality. In the course of one battle, Muhammad’s troops raid a village and kill everyone “until there was no survivor left.” [Full citations provided below.] During another battle, Muhammad’s troops killed many men but the “prophet” is disturbed that male infants weren’t murdered too–and sends the troops back to finish the job.

The early Muslims are shown to be not only brutal but treacherous (a fact worth remembering as we consider peace treaties with Muslim nations). In one battle, the Muhammadans promised peace to a tribe nearby. Then, when the other tribe members were lulled into complacency, Muhammad massacred “all the males.” They kept the women as slaves.

The hatred for other faiths that we see in modern Islam has its roots in the Qur’an. The book tells how the Jews of the area had offered peace and Muhammad invited them to a ceremony to declare peace. Instead, Muhammad massacred the 950 of them.

Muhammad even countenances brutality against his own people. When a group in the region reputedly insulted Allah by worshiping an idol, Muhammad led the slaughter of 3,000 people in a single day. When some of his followers strayed by following non-Islamic sex practices, Allah literally directs Muhammad to slaughter another 24,000: “take all the heads of the people and hang them up before Allah against the sun.”

Under the Sharia, the Islamic law, even the slightest infractions are punished with brutal violence. Some foods were not cooked according to Halal laws? Two men were immediately executed.

The notion that Allah is a forgiving God is comical. At one point, Muhammad had led his troops to victory and then had his troops mutilate the genitalia of the opponents. He and his allies also set fire to a walled city and then waited for the victims to flee, at which point they were ambushed and slaughtered. Putting aside the historical accuracy of that account, is this really the “God of Peace” that Muslim leaders speak about?

The appalling treatment of women we see in Islamic countries today also has its roots in the Qur’an. When a mob of Muslims is attacking a man, he responds by offering his own daughter to be raped. Allah teaches the Muslims that to in order repopulate a diminished tribe, they should go to a nearby field, wait for the women to come out, and then kidnap, rape and marry them.

This is all very consistent with the basic theology of Islam spelled out in chilling clarity by Muhammed himself: “I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.”

Finally, if there’s any doubt about the fanatical nature of the faith, it should be dispelled with this chilling passage: “Happy shall they be who take your little ones [babies] and dash them against the rock.”

If you are skeptical, I urge you to read the passages and citations yourself. It’s there in black and white.

Hmmm, I seem to have made a few errors with the attributions. The passages you’ve just read are not from the Qur’an; they’re from the Bible. Where I say Muhammad, I actually meant either Moses, Joshua, David, or another biblical figure. “I have not come to bring peace but a sword” was uttered by Jesus. When I say “Allah,” I actually meant God of the Hebrew Bible. And when I refer to Muhammed’s troops, I actually meant the Hebrews. There are obviously many other examples of brutality in the Bible (the best summary I’ve seen is Gregg Easterbrook’s “Beside Still Waters”).

How to make Pakistanis Happy 101

Get Cricket involved. Well ofcourse pakistan didnt get anything out of the trip from the US president GW Bush but hey he knew how to make pakistanis happy, he knew they were angry over the Nuclear deal with India, with all the offers made to india and what did he give pakistan.

Well he showed interest in Cricket. Yaeeeyyy, he knows the nation is a sucker for cricket and if he met the captain and vice captain, played a ball or two, All in the safety of the US Embassy (The safest palce in pakistan) he will be able to reach out to the hearts of the Pakistanis. I bet he did also.

I gotta give it to GW, i never saw this coming but who ever came up with the idea of keeping the pakistanis busy with sports and india with good stuff is the smartest person on the Bush’s team.

Hats off to you.

So the outcome of Bush's Visit to Pakistan

I OWN U BIATCH

I think that sums it up, not that I don’t love Pakistan but common, what was the whole trip to Pakistan about. I am sure it was about

Guys you are working good in the war of terror, but I like India better because they got a good economy, as for pakis you guys keep killing people, so no biscuits for you.

And pakis are like
WTF!!!!!

Paki govt is like
OHH we are so glad you visited us. In your honor we house arrested the whole opposition leadership and Locked up the whole city. But please throw something our way other paki people will know that we are just your B******.

—————-

Well what ever the case it is very true we didn’t get anything out the trip of the US President. He came stayed and will be gone, Nothing more. Of course the deal given to India is very attractive and they rightly deserved it. Even if their political party is corrupt or whatever they work for their country, it is hard to find a lot of Pakistani politicians who are genuinely working for Pakistan. There is a handful but that is all. So we didn’t stand up for our self. The stigma of terrorism and nuclear proliferation is stuck with us. So no western govt will deal with us unless we have Oil :).
So the wrap it up, No Deal for you Pakiland, You been a bad boy and India has been good. Get democracy and educate your people. Start an IT boom and have tons of C++ programmers. Increase your population to have a strong 300 Million Middle class to attract investment and get rid of terrorism. Then you might get something.

Get Real about AQ Khan

I knew some family friends who worked at the Kahuta Research Labs (KRL) or AQ Khan Labs. I remember every morning the Military Vans would come and take them to the KRL. The Street they lived on had quite a few Scientists from KRL living and the street had an ISI check post there to keep an eye on who came and who didn’t. These facilities were closely monitored and run by the Pakistani Military. Every step taken was either taken with the help of the military or under the military’s watchful eyes.

Then after the whole So Called AQ Khan ring was busted I started thinking how this guy can cause all this trouble. AQ Khan always had a military escort with him. He was also taken care of by the military. It is impossible for the Doctor to do anything on his own. What is very visible is that he took another fall for the nation as he did for the last so many years for Pakistan. He is a true hero and Pakistani military under the current dictator/president decided that was the best course of action to blame one man for something which he didn’t do. AQ Khan didn’t build the missiles for the personal use. They were built for the military who wanted them. He didn’t make the nukes so he can take them home. I am sure he was ordered by the military to acquire the missiles from North Korea and give them the know how of the nukes. Further he must have traveled thru China with the military’s knowing to North Korea. Iran and Libya must have been given the plans to ensure a nuclear capable Muslim block in the world.
We have to remember that Pakistan is the only Muslim country in the world to possess nukes. Iran might be on its way to be the second one but not yet. AQ Khan had always worked with the military on such issues. The military aircrafts carried all the personnel and engineers to nuclear sites. The access was controlled by the military, it is impossible to think that the top brass of the military didn’t know anything about what Dr AQ Khan was up to.

Other than that I like millions of Pakistanis think that AQ Khan is a national hero. Not for selling or getting the know how of nuclear program to other countries but for giving Pakistan the courage to be a nation who can stand up for herself. Whatever the west says or does about AQ Khan, I can guarantee that he will live in the hearts of the Pakistani people as the only Hero who was disgraced by the govt but not the People. It is said that his health is deteriorating these days but I pray Allah gives him a long life and give Pakistan many more like him. Ameen.

Bush in Paksitan

As a very democratic country we might want to show that pakistan welcomes the trip of the US president and as Mr Bush said that he did not fear terrorism. But in a very known move the govt of pakistan decided to close all schools for two days in islamabad. They also decided to lock down most of the sity just to make sure the security appratus doesnt fall apart.
It is interesting to see in pakistan whenever they need to kill some social service they will kill education and health. Islamabad will be in a total lockdown mode and nothing will be allowed in or out.
Does this show how much of a control Mr Musharraf (or as he is known in rest of the world as Busharraf) has now on his on own country where he rules with an iron fist. Sadly this is a situation where everyday it becomes worse for the people. Now students are deprived of the basic education they need because the American President is visiting. I dont recall Delhi closing their schools or Hyderabad in india doing the same.
Islamabad Airport is closed on friday, people are told to get to work in islamabad before 8 or all roads will be closed, All Hotels in islamabad are now emptied and the roads leading to the Diplomatic enclave are also blocked. Wow what a sense of security. They are also thinking of jamming the Mobile Phone Networks for the whole city during the arrival and departure of the Preseident.

I can understand security but this is an overkill. I dont think the American President needs to come to pakistan if it is going to cost millions and loss of daily life for the resident of the twin cities.

At What Cost

The Bombing in Karachi was timed or not who cares. Is it worth the killing. I dont think so. I am a conservative muslim but the people who do such crimes are not muslim at all rather than being anything close to a human

These people who do these kind of acts should be shot in public. Like the encounters pakistani police used to do. Soo many people dead just to get an american diplomat. Where do the teachings of islam go now. These people have nothing to do with Islam.

If you want to make a difference work towards educating yourself and then see how the perspective changes. The prophet didnt attack or did suicide attacks on Mecca. He was patient and taught his teachings to ensure a future where he didnt have to fight.

At what cost are these people willing to reach their blind objective. I dont think there is anything in the world that can help or make their targets acheived. Is the blood of a human that cheap that it can be wasted soo easily.

Well i hope before these mindless tyrants do anything illegal again they are wiped out of the face of Earth. Ameen.

And i Got kicked

It was a very interesting argument going on with some ahmedis on their community on Orkut but i dared to call their false prophet Mirza Sahib. So They deleted my postings and kicked me out.
Well their loss. I was enjoying every bit of it.

Mirza whatever came in the late 1800s on the request of the british to counter and split the muslims in the south asia. They are declared non-Muslims in the Constitution of Pakistan. They are declred non muslims by Muslim scholars and are not allowed to enter the holy places in Saudi Arabia.

IMPORTANT ALERT!!!

Assalaamu Alaikum
(Greetings of Peace):

The struggle to control and manipulate images is one of the most critical components of an efficient propaganda war. The Zionists (and their complicit slaves) have repeatedly shown themselves to be ruthless masters at it!

A couple of weeks ago a friend and brother-in-Islam (Dr Imad ad-Dean Ahmad) and I thought that we were going to the ONLY theater in metropolitan Washington to see the award winning film “Paradise Now.” Unfortunately, as we were preparing for our drive to Virginia, we learned that it had just closed – with the next closest venue being ONE theater in New York.

“Paradise Now” is an award-winning Palestinian film that has made a serious break-through in the international film industry, and is currently nominated for an Academy Award under the “Best Foreign Films” category. It is now my understanding that there is a chance it will be removed from the OSCAR bid because of anti-Palestinian lobbies.

A petition drive is under way to address this matter: http://www.petitiononline.com/para222/petition.html
Now I’ve learned that a play celebrating the life and legacy of a courageous (now deceased) young woman named Rachel Corrie, titled “My Name Is Rachel Corrie,” may not see the light of day any time soon in the U.S. – once again because of Zionist pressures!

We have first hand experience on the power of eye-opening, truth based, propaganda! The same year that Rachel was murdered by a hate-filled Israeli soldier operating an American made bulldozer, we published a small book on the ongoing Palestinian crisis titled “The Message of Rachel Corrie.” On the back cover of the second printing is a revealing quote, from a non-Muslim woman who read a copy of the first:

“Words alone cannot express the gratitude I feel for you having written the book on Rachel Corrie. It literally moved me to tears. As a woman who is half Jewish I am outraged by what occurred, shamed and saddened. All the while reading it I couldn’t shake the feeling that this could have been my daughter. I must also confess to feeling almost a sense of embarrassment for having allowed myself to view the Arab-Israeli conflict through a distorted lens for so many years. I will never be the same, and I have you and the incredible sacrifice made by this courageous young woman to thank for opening my eyes.
“God bless you and your organization sir, and may your book enjoy all the success that it so richly deserves.”

With these words in mind, it’s clear why the “freedom” touting powers-that-be are poised to prevent a PLAY on Rachel Corrie from seeing the light of day in the “Big Apple” (New York City). I pray that committed activists and well meaning citizens will take up the challenge and push back such HYPOCRITICAL CENSORSHIP!

Surely Americans will not put up with this censorship

By Katharine Viner

The Guardian
1 March 2006

http://arts.guardian.co.uk/comment/story/0,,1720592,00.html

The flights for cast and crew had been booked; the production schedule delivered; the press announcement drafted and approved; tickets advertised on the internet. The Royal Court production of “My Name Is Rachel Corrie,” the play I co-edited with Alan Rickman, was transferring next month to the New York Theatre Workshop, home of the groundbreaking musical Rent, following two sellout runs in London and several awards.

We always thought that it was a piece of work that needed to be seen in the US. Created from the journals and emails of American activist Rachel Corrie, telling of her journey
from her adolescent life in Seattle, Washington, to her death under a bulldozer in Gaza at the age of 23, we considered it, in a sense, to be an American story, which would have a particular relevance for audiences in Rachel’s home country. After all, she had made her journey to the Middle East in order “to meet the people who are on the receiving end of our [American] tax dollars”, and she was a killed by a US-made bulldozer.

But last week the New York Theatre Workshop canceled the production – or, in their words, “postponed it indefinitely”. The political climate, we were told, had changed dramatically since the play was booked. As James Nicola, the theatre’s artistic director, said yesterday:
“In our pre-production planning and our talking around and listening in our communities in New York, what we heard was that after Ariel Sharon’s illness and the election of Hamas in the recent Palestinian elections, we had a very edgy situation.” Rachel was to be censored for political reasons.

It makes you wonder. If a young, middle-class, scrupulously fair-minded, and dead, American woman, whose superb writing about her job as a mental health worker, ex-boyfriends, troublesome parents, struggle to find out who she wanted to be, and how she found that by traveling to Gaza and discovering the shocking conditions under which the Palestinians live – if a voice like this cannot be heard on a New York stage, what hope is there for anyone else? The non-American, the non-white, the non-dead, the oppressed?

Anyone who sees the play, or reads it, realises that this is no piece of alienating agitprop. One night in London, a group of American students came to a performance and mobbed us afterwards, thrilled that they had seen themselves on stage, and who they might, in a different life, have become. Another night, an Israeli couple, members of the rightwing Likud party, on holiday in Britain, were similarly impressed. “The play wasn’t against Israel, it was against violence,” they told Cindy Corrie, Rachel’s mother.

I was particularly touched by a young Jewish New Yorker, from an Orthodox family, who said that he had been nervous about coming to see My Name Is Rachel Corrie, because he had been told that both she and it were viciously anti-Israel. But he had been powerfully moved by Rachel’s words and realized that he had, to his alarm, been dangerously misled.

But the director of the New York theatre told the New York Times yesterday that it wasn’t the people who actually saw the play he was concerned about. “I don’t think we were worried about the audience,” he said. “I think we were more worried that those who had never encountered her writing, never encountered the piece, would be using this as an opportunity to position their arguments.”

Since when did theatre come to be about those who don’t go to see it? If the play itself, as Mr Nicola clearly concedes, is not the problem, then isn’t the answer to get people in to
watch it, rather than exercising prior censorship? With freedom of speech now at the top of the international agenda, and George Clooney’s outstanding Good Night, and Good Luck reminding us of the dangers of not standing up to witch-hunts, Americans should not be denied the right to hear Rachel Corrie’s words – words that only two weeks ago were deemed acceptable.

I’d heard from American friends that life for dissenters had been getting worse – wiretapping scandals, arrests for wearing anti-war T-shirts, Muslim professors denied visas. But it’s hard to tell from afar how bad things really are. Here was personal proof that the political climate is
continuing to shift disturbingly, narrowing the scope of free debate and artistic expression. What was acceptable a matter of weeks ago is not acceptable now. The New York theatre’s claim that the arrangement was tentative is absurd: the truth is that its management has caved in to political pressure, an
d the reputation of the arts in New York is the poorer for it.

It is surely underestimating the curiosity and robustness of the American public, many of whom would no doubt be interested in an insight into the reality of occupation that led to the Hamas victory. Artistic communities need to resist the censorship of voices that go against the grain of George Bush’s America, rather than following the Fox News agenda and gagging them before they have even been heard.
